Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
Well, here we are again. Wine lovers throughout the nation face the sometime problematic decision of what to drink for the big day - you love wine, but the annoying glances that occasionally come can be annoying as hell. A couple beers are always nice, but can get boring after a bit. So what should you move to?
Lets move past all the usual blah-blah-blah, and give you a list of the best wines for the game. These wines go well with wings, chips, BBQ, chili, nachos, and bread dip (to name a few). We'll add serving temps, because that's our thing :)
Cabernet Sauvignon - 62°F
Merlot - 60°F
Pinot Noir - 57°F
Chardonnay (nachos; bread dip) - 49°F
Rose (wings, mild BBQ, nachos, bread dip) - 45°F
Grenache - 55°F
Syrah - 60°F
Malbec - 58°F
There is usually more to a SB spread, but this should be a pretty good guideline - so get out there and enjoy - GO SPORTS!
